Once you’re aware of how weight loss actually works, and are gradually making progress towards being healthier and happier in your day-to-day life, you are already winning.
When we say ‘trust the process’ we want you to just take a second for yourself, smile about all of the good that you have done already and enjoy the rest of your weight loss journey.
It doesn’t matter that you’re not 5kg lighter yet, or if you had an extra slice of cake at the event last night.
If you are actively striving towards being a better you, then you are already doing amazing and should be proud of yourself.
Life isn’t all about the end goal; it’s about the journey.
Your mind works to create an end point as a means to motivate you. Stay motivated, but don’t get too hung up on it!
Shift your focus away from finally achieving your weight loss goal, to enjoying the process and the journey you have chosen to embark on.
Trust us when we say that it makes the whole experience a lot easier, more enjoyable and even more likely to work!
It's about not fretting over the small things.
If you make a mistake, simply take a lesson from it and apply it to your future self. Learning tiny lessons from millions of mistakes through your life is the recipe of success. And happiness. Oh, and weight loss; and anything else you decide to pursue!
Expel any negativity you may associate with making mistakes, and simply strive to learn from each and every bump on the way.
Life is long; it just doesn’t matter about a slice of cake! Be the master of your own lifestyle, the captain of your own ship.
Strive to trust (and enjoy) the process of weight loss, and you will achieve your goals without even breaking a sweat.
